How does ValleyRentals work?
It’s simple.  If you’re searching for a place to rent, login and register for FREE.  Unlike other sites who claim to offer free searches, this is not a “guest search” in which you will be roped in to paying money to obtain information on the listing.  As a member of ValleyRentals, you will have all the rights and privileges of accessing every single listing.  If you’re a landlord or property manager looking to post your listing, register and login.  It’s that simple.  And yes, it’s free for you too!  

Is there really a need for another rental listing service in the LA area?
Believe it or not, with the 4.68 million residents in the five Los Angeles valleys and hundreds of thousands of rental units, the most trafficked sites -- in Los Angeles and nationally -- only have a few hundred listings dedicated to your area.  In addition, each of the regional listing services have one thing in common: membership fees.  If a search engine as powerful as Google can allow us to search online content for free, searching for your perfect place to live should definitely be free. 

Some services show the total number of listings on their site on their home page.  Why doesn’t ValleyRentals?
Sites that boast their “total number” of listings have two things in common: 1) They all charge you to search; and 2) If you go on these sites and enter a small city like Agoura Hills, for example, they may show 100 available listings.  But after viewing each listing individually, you’ll notice a similar trend: most of the 100 listings are from the same three apartment buildings.  This struck us as something we could improve upon so we organized our listings to include all vacant rentals in one building under the same listing.  We also don’t include garage, storage or parking spaces in our total.  It may seem as though we have fewer listings but that’s only because we’re well organized.  ValleyRentals has more Los Angeles valley listings than any other site on the web...period. 

Why are you able to offer the same service as the rest without charging a fee?
It’s simple – low overhead.  We employ a minimal amount of staff necessary to run the site and we keep our marketing costs low by focusing our efforts on word-of-mouth and promotions.  For this same reason, we’re not available by phone.  But who cares – you’re searching online anyway.  As long as this works for you, it works for us and we’ll keep providing this service free of charge.

Will you be expanding beyond the valley areas of Los Angeles?
This is the question we receive most often here at ValleyRentals.  Our focus at this time is perfecting the services offered to the San Fernando, San Gabriel, Conejo, Santa Clarita and Antelope Valleys.  Providing the best search experience possible for the 109 areas we service is our main priority at this time.  So although we may expand in the future, at the present moment we are squarely focused on Your Place, Your Style, Your Valley.
